1. Talk to Commander Denulth who is located north east of the Burthorpe Lodestone, south of the agility course. (The quest icon can be hidden by the block of soldiers he's south of.)

1. Head west past the castle and through a defensive wall.
2. Go north (past troll invasion) and into a cave.
3. Talk to Sabbot.
  1I've been sent to look for a route to Death Plateau. Can you help?
4. Exit the cave and follow the path to the west.
5. At the intersection, head west and then go south and into a house.
6. Talk to Freda.
1. Home Teleport to Burthorpe.
2. Speak to Dunstan outside the house to the south-east of Denulth to add spikes to the climbing boots.
  1Can you put some fresh spikes on these climbing boots for me?
3. Bring the spiked boots back to Freda.
4. Read the Survey that is received.
5. Go back to Sabbot's cave and mine the wall west of him.
6. Proceed through the cavern's obstacles and climb the cliffside at the southern end of the cavern.
7. Exit the cave through the cliffside hole.
8. The Map will approach the player.
  3Prepare to die, troll!
9. Kill The Map.
10. The Map will not be counted as killed if you are in a group.
11. Home Teleport to Burthorpe.
1. Talk to Commander Denulth.
2. Watch or skip the cutscene.
3. Quest complete!
