    1. Talk to Reldo in the Varrock Palace library.

    2. Search the east side of the centre bookcases (with the navy blue book) for The Shield of Arrav book, then read it.

    1. Talk to Reldo and ask about the Phoenix Gang.

      1Do you know where I can find the Phoenix Gang?

    2. Talk to Baraek who is located in the north-east of Varrock square, and give him 10 coins. Ask him every question available.

      1Can you tell me where I can find the Phoenix Gang?1Alright. Have 10 gold coins.2Thanks!

    3. Travel to the Phoenix Gang Hideout which is located south of Aubury's Rune Shop. It will be marked by a dungeon link to the Misthalin Underground on the map.

    4. Climb down the ladder.

    5. Talk to Straven and ask to join. Tell him you know who he is.

      1I know who you are!1I'd like to offer you my services.

    6. Go to the Blue Moon Inn which is just north of Varrock's southern entrance.

    7. Kill Jonny the beard.

    8. Grab the Intel report that he drops.

    9. Return to the hideout and talk to Straven.

    10. Search the chest in the south-west corner of the hideout for a broken shield.

    11. After climbing back up the ladder, enter the house east of the Phoenix Gang Hideout and go up the ladder there.

    12. Pick up the two Phoenix crossbows on the floor, you will need these for the next gang.

    1. Talk to Charlie the Tramp located just north of Varrock's southern entrance. Ask him what's down the alley.

      3Do you know where I can find the Black Arm Gang hideout?1That sounds fair. (Pay 10 gold.)

    2. Follow the alley to the west and enter the building.

    3. Talk to Katrine.

      1I've heard you're the Black Arm Gang.Any1I want to become a member of your gang.1Well, you can give me a try, can't you?1No problem. I'll get you two phoenix crossbows.

    4. Talk to Katrine again to give her the crossbows.

    5. Head north through the door and climb up the staircase.

    6. Open and search the cupboard on the south-eastern wall for the other broken shield piece.

    1. Use one half of the shield on the other for a restored shield.

    2. Talk to King Roald located in the immediate east room of the Varrock Palace.

      1Talk about the Shield of Arrav.

    3. If you have completed Priest in Peril

      2Talk about the Shield of Arrav.

    4. Quest complete!
