    3. After the cutscene, inspect the Het scales to receive the heavy weight.

    4. Climb the rope to end up on the roof (the vault has a teleblock active).

    5. Home Teleport to Al Kharid lodestone.

    6. Head south-east to the Shantay Pass.

    2. Do not interrupt the cutscene, or you will have to go back to the palace to retrieve Ozan.

    3. Inspect the sundial (Het).

    4. Click the """ symbol on the outer ring to align the sundial to the symbol of Het (human face). Continue dialogue with Ozan.

    5. Head south-west to the sundial (Apmeken). Inspect it.

    6. It is possible for the scene to be interrupted and nothing happens afterwards. In this case, just inspect it again.

    7. After the cutscene, kill the bandits and their king.

    8. Pick up the sundial gnomon dropped by the last bandit killed. Ozan will take it if the backpack is full.

    9. Inspect the sundial to fix it.

    10. Click the "" symbol on the left bottom corner of the outer ring to align the sundial to the symbol of Apmeken (monkey head). Continue dialogue with Ozan.

    11. Head north-west for a cutscene, north of the fairy ring.

    1. After the cutscene, keep entering any of the tunnels. Ozan will eventually mention he is sitting on something uncomfortable.

    2. Inspect the sundial (Crondis).

    3. Click the "" symbol on the right bottom corner of the outer ring to align it to Crondis (crocodile head).

    4. Enter the tunnel the sunbeam points to and walk through the tunnel at the end of the path.

    5. Slice open the dung kalphites until the Kharid-ib is found.

    6. A bronze scimitar can be found on the ground near the torch for players without a slashing weapon.

    7. The sparkling kalphites contain gems and must be slashed open. They appear to have an extra glowing circle near their heads.

    8. You must slice open any three kalphites before they will begin to sparkle.

    9. Changing various game settings can help identify the sparkling ones.

    10. Switch your graphics settings' "Lighting Detail" option to "Low".

    11. Switch your skybox setting "Midday".

    12. Switch your audio settings' "Ambient Sounds" option on. A twinkle sound indicates the sparkling one is nearby.

    13. For the last kalphite, pick up the kharid-ib and a cutscene ensues.

    14. Climb-out the exit (the rope that appears in the centre).

    15. Talk to Ozan or Leela.

    16. Inspect the sundial (Scabaras).

    17. Click the "" symbol on the outer ring to align it to Scabaras (beetle).
